![]() However, the lines to order food move fairly quickly so wait times are minimal.Īfter lunch, the adults and the older kids decided to float around the lazy river for a while. If you don’t rent a cabana, you don’t get this service. NOTE: Since we rented a cabana while we were at the facility, we had a waitress tending to us. I loved the variety of the menu, and the kids were able to chow down before going back into the pools! The kids got fries, pizza, burgers, and nachos while the adults opted for fresh salads and fruit! Everything was beyond amazing! The food came quickly, and was still warm when it reached our table! Our waitress was exceptional, and made sure that we were satisfied with our choices. Once the kids played for a few hours, we ordered some food. I believe the cabana is 100% worth the price! Cabana Rental I also loved the idea that we had sort of a “meeting” area where everyone could meet up if they got separated from the group. I loved being able to close the cabana and read some of my book while the kids played around outside. We also had a lovely waitress checking in on us every hour or so to ensure that we didn’t need anything to eat or drink. Cabanas feature private seating, privacy curtains, and exclusive amenities not avaliable to other guests. There was a flat screen tv in the cabana for guests (like myself) who prefer to lounge versus getting into the actual water. Cabana rentals are $150 Monday-Thursday, and $200 Friday-Sunday. I loved that the park offered various sized personal lockers to keep everything safe, and a ton of great food options (for picky children of course)! They even had a full service bar for parents to grab a quick drink! The bar was very low-key and there weren’t a lot of drunk rowdy adults which was a huge plus for us! We had the opportunity to rent a cabana while we visited the park. While the kids were playing, the adults took a tour around the park. She was extremely excited to have an entire section full of activities. Since my daughter is small, we are usually very limited on what she is able to do in parks like this. I was expecting maybe one or two slides and a splash pool for the smaller kids, but Epic Waters has a full blown park! There are dumping buckets and water guns along with slides and sprinklers! This was probably one of my favorite things about the park. Walking into the park there is no way to miss the ginormous water slides! The kids immediately raced off to explore because there was so much to see! I knew Epic Waters was large, but it was more than I could have ever imagined! The older kids took off to the slides, and my daughter and I quickly raced off to the section dedicated to smaller children. ![]() Most amusement parks today charge anywhere from $10-$50 for parking on top of already high ticket prices, so it was nice to avoid those additional fees. When we arrived at Epic Waters, the first thing I noticed was the free parking. That means no matter what kind of day it is, Epic Waters is always ready for a good time! Epic Waters Indoor Water Park They simply close the roof and guests can continue having the time of their lives! If lightning is within 5 miles of the water park, the slide tower and the outside Wave Pool will close and be evacuated while all other attractions will remain open. Not only is it open year-round, but it has something for the entire family to enjoy! We recently visited the water park and experienced the family-fun first hand! Unlike regular water parks, Epic Waters doesn’t get rained out or shut down during bad weather. If you’re traveling to Grand Prairie Texas any time soon or are trying to plan a quick family getaway, Epic Waters Indoor Water Park is a must-visit! Epic Waters is a 80,000 square foot indoor/outdoor water park that features a retractable roof.
